Zabrina Whitman

Founder Zabrina Whitman is an award-winning, multi-industry professional with nearly 15 years of experience in policy work at provincial, federal and international levels. With a background in social sciences and global development, she is uniquely qualified to take on projects and negotiations for Indigenous groups and organizations, both in Canada and around the globe.

Young Soaring Eagle takes a proactive approach to make lasting change for individuals and communities. We work to create a world where all voices are not only included at the table, but heard and understood with equal regard. Dialogue that influences long-term action is rooted in honesty—we facilitate open, honest conversations where participants feel comfortable expressing their needs and challenges. Our goal with every interaction is to foster mutual respect. Though we are based in Atlantic Canada, we offer services throughout the country.

Founder Zabrina’s previous work experience includes the United Nations, Canadian Embassy in Egypt, and Kwilmu’kw Maw-klusuaqn Negotiation Office. Zabrina is currently Coordinator of Indigenous Affairs and Student Advising at Acadia University. Clients appreciate her strong capacity to work through high-stress situations, politically charged topics, and deep sensitivity for cultural issues.
