Founder of Young Soaring Eagle, Zabrina Whitman is an award-winning, multi-industry professional with nearly 20 years of experience in policy work at provincial, federal and international levels. With a background in social sciences and global development, she is uniquely qualified to take on projects and negotiations for Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups and organizations, both in Canada and around the globe.

Zabrina’s previous work experience includes the United Nations, Canadian Embassy in Egypt, and Kwilmu’kw Maw-klusuaqn Negotiation Office. Zabrina is currently Coordinator of Indigenous Affairs and Student Advising at Acadia University. Clients appreciate her strong capacity to work through high-stress situations, politically charged topics, and deep sensitivity for cultural issues.

Alicia is a versatile professional dedicated to continuous growth and tackling complex challenges with insight and creativity. With experience across various sectors — including Public, Private, IT, Communications, Legal, and Finance — she thrives in dynamic environments that offer autonomy and room to apply her diverse expertise. 

Alicia's approach to problem-solving integrates technical, socio-legal, and regulatory factors, ensuring that solutions are thoughtful, client-centred, and practical. Alicia is deeply passionate about advocating for issues that have a profound impact on individuals and communities and is a steadfast believer in the transformative power of people centred design.

Alicia holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Information Technology from Carleton University. She is also a certified PROSCI Change Practitioner and has a Diploma in Interactive Multimedia Design from Algonquin College. With this diverse academic background, Alicia brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to driving meaningful, impactful change.

Alicia is the proud owner of Nash, a chihuahua who thinks he's the boss of everything (and let’s be honest, he probably is). When she’s not being bossed around by her pint-sized pup, she is an avid reader, always eager to dive into new books that expand her knowledge and spark her creativity. She also enjoys staying active, and is often found cycling or running outdoors, embracing the freedom and energy these activities bring.
